Basic Info BioName: Ian Dixon
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Physical Description: Ian is your typical average male. Blue eyes, Short light brown hair. Fair complexion. Square face, set jaw.
Personality: He's an outgoing man, loves to be the joker in the group. When things get serious though, he will always be the first to volunteer his help. He's fiercly loyal to his friends, very protective of those he holds dear. Will not take crap from anyone. Ian loves gossip aswell. He swears this is only to rat out the gossip that will cause problems, but really...he's just an old gossip monger.
History/Bio: Ian grew up in Melbourne, Australia, around restaurants all his life. He started helping serve customers in a fish and chip shop. When he was twelve, he graduated to McDonalds as a burger flipper. Throughout school, he would always take Home Ec. Classes to further his interest and skill in food and cooking.
When he left school, Ian enrolled himself in numerous community college classes to learn about different cuisines. Throughout this time, he worked part time in restaurants, both in waiting tables and in the kitchens as a dishwasher.
Ian firmly believed in starting at the bottom to get to the top.
His parents were well off, but didn't believe in helping him in every situation he found himself needing money in. Him and his brother, Kev, would have bake offs, even though they were teased at school.
When he was 20, he joined the Army to cook. First peeling potatoes and onions, then moving on up the ranks. Finally, just before the Atlantis expedition was created, he scored a position in SGC, cooking for the SG teams in the Mess.
Ian enjoys his job, enjoys being around people and making them happy with food. He will try and grant requests from his eaters, but can't always oblige them.
Position on Atlantis or Affiliation: He is the guy who controls the kitchens and food supply to Atlantis.
